What We're About:
Pauma Valley Community Church (PVCC) is a group of people that seek to love others as Christ loves us. It is our desire to welcome all who come through our doors by showing them the love of Christ and showing them the key to eternal salvation and complete joy - a relationship with Jesus Christ.
What We Believe: (click for our doctrinal statement)
We believe that everyone needs salvation and that salvation comes through faith alone. Not by works but by the grace of God through His Son Jesus.
Come check out what's happening at PVCC. If you want a family focused, relaxed service, with plenty of love, and lots of deep spiritual truths, PVCC is the place for you!
Promiseland:
We value family here at PVCC. We encourage families to worship together. At the beginning of the teaching time, the children (ages 3 —Jr. High School) will be dismissed to go to their respective classrooms for a time of age-appropriate teaching and fellowship with other children and excellent teachers.
We would like to extend to you a very warm welcome. Your relationship with Jesus is of the utmost importance to us. At PVCC we have chosen not to pass an offering plate on Sunday mornings. Instead we have an offering box available to you so you can give discretely. Please give as God places it in your heart. Since we value your opinion we also have a suggestion box for your comments. We hope you'll enjoy our weekly worship services.
PVCC Vision for 2008-2009:
John 17:23
"That they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that You sent me and loved them."
Key Verses:
Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31
"Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:16
But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence. 1 Peter 3:15
Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. Colossians 2:6-7 (NASB)
Communion: On the first Sunday of each month, we have two meals together as a church family. This first meal represents the “Lord’s Supper.” If you have put your trust in Jesus Christ and Him alone for your salvation then you are welcome to join us. If you are not a believer in Christ please refrain from taking of the bread or cup as it is passed around. No one will look down on you for refraining. You are our guest and we hope that you will discover the joy of having a relationship with Christ when you are ready to make that commitment of faith.
The second meal is for everyone! We have a big feast after the service and this is a great time to eat good food with great company! Please bring a meal to share with the church body (meal, side dish or dessert). Even if you didn’t bring anything we’d love for you to join us for what we affectionately call “Family Dinner.”
